Role Summary / Purpose:
Role Summary / Purpose –Information Management (IM) Project Manager Business Solutions – ERP Projects – is responsible for supporting and developing Oracle ERP Project Accounting strategy and execution based upon business requirements. This position will lead and execute small projects as well as be the solution delivery expert on larger projects. The ability to lead projects, execute plans, work independently, work in a team, and problem solving are key requirements for this position.
Essential Responsibilities:
• Own content, technology, and functionality within ERP Projects
• Serve as the subject matter expert in Oracle Projects. This would include but not limited to Project Billing, Project Management, Project Accounting and Project Costing.
• Maximize standard Oracle ERP functionality to improve and simplify processes / customizations. Limit customizations.
• Recommend and implement best practices, system and process improvements, and simplification ideas
• Lead and execute full life cycle of small to medium IT projects utilizing Project Management Methodology (dPMM)
• Participate as team member on complex projects
• Create and deliver training curriculum to business and IT
• Assist in problem resolution within the Projects area
• Deliver high quality solutions and root cause analysis of critical business scenarios
• Coordinate with other Renewables IM Project Managers on outsourced projects located in India.
Qualifications/Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field
• 3+ years experience in Oracle Projects.
• In depth functional knowledge in ERP relating to Project and Time & Labor Modules (Project Billing, Project Costing, and Oracle Time & Labor)
• Experience in multiple business operating units and multiple country deployment
• Strong knowledge and understanding of application configurations, setups, and integration of ERP Project modules.
• Strong interpersonal, influencing, and communication skills
• Experience with BI Publishing (formerly known as XML publishing)
• Basic technical skills to query / follow data through the Oracle database
